F is for Feather

Over the weekend, I went to a local art store and picked up some 4 foot by 8-foot foam core sheets.

My little studio doesn't have much room for backdrops, and good ones are out of my budget anyway.

I have plans (and supplies) to paint a few backdrops myself, but space is at a premium. The backdrop project would take up the studio floor and several days, so it's on hold for the time being.

In the mean time, I've cut 2 feet off of the foam core sheets, so they are now 4x6 feet. I have white and black, and they will serve as larger backdrops when needed.

This week I've decided to shoot only on white as a little extra challenge for myself.

First up . . . F is for feather.
