When the pandemic first began I remember having a conversation with my son Morgan (Amelia's dad) , talking about the restrictions that had just been brought in, wondering how in the world we were going to manage being locked down for six weeks.
Here we are 19 months later and there are still restrictions. And we've managed to navigate this strange time, but some of it has not been easy. One of the hardest things was not being able to have my family over, especially my sweet Amelia so when restrictions finally eased the first thing I did was plan dinner outside.
How I had missed this sweet little girl! Story time though FaceTime calls were no substitute for spending time together, in person.
